Be Pretty Inside and Out
with Vaxa's Eternal-In

The skin is the largest organ of the body, yet its nutritional requirements are often forgotten. As we get older, the effects of toxins from our environment, some of the foods we eat, excessive exposure to the sun, etc. wreak havoc on our skin, causing us to age prematurely. Free radicals are a key culprit in this process.

What are free radicals?  These broken pieces of highly destructive molecules are capable of destroying individual body cells and eventually the integrity of many organs. When toxins and free radicals accumulate in the body unchecked, they slowly destroy critical cell structures, aiding in the collapse of capillaries which disrupts the flow of blood and nutrients throughout the body. This makes us more vulnerable to disease, premature aging and subsequent cellular mutations.

The ingredients in Växa's Eternal-In aid in:

  • the reduction of premature wrinkling and age spots
  • maintaining the skin's elasticity and suppleness
  • optimal blood formation within the skin (and elsewhere)

Pycnogenol®, a key antioxidant in Eternal-In, helps scavenge free radicals in the body and has been documented to help:

  • control varicose veins
  • control muscle and tissue inflammation
  • protect capillaries and vascular membranes from becoming too fragile

5 easy ways to lose weight

Losing weight can seem like the endless battle, especially if you are like me and into menopause.  However, I've discovered the value of small, manageable changes.  It works so much better for me to do little things that I can manage that will, over time, make a difference than to make drastic lifestyle and diet changes that never seem to hold.

Here's 5 things I do that are easy and lend themselves to helping me lose weight:

    1.  Drink water all day long.  Most people I know drink water when they have to take medicine.  That's about it.  If other drinks are your drinks of choice, just make a conscious choice to drink water before you let yourself drink anything else.

    2.  Eat more veggies.  Same rule as water.  If you don't tend to eat veggies, just make a conscious choice to eat a veggie before you eat anything else on your plate.

    3.  Exercise for one minute.  I know, that sounds stupid.  What can a minute do?  Well, for me, it gets me into the habit of getting on my rebounder every, every day.  And over time, I can do a little more.

    4.  Never skip breakfast.  That was a big one for me because I work at home and would typically be at the computer working for hours before I thought to eat.  Now, I keep a basket of nutritional meal bars at my desk so that when I start working before I eat, I am reminded to eat something and it's right there in front of me.

    5.  Drink Kombucha tea or use the extract.  I started with the tea but it's so expensive that I switched to the extract.  Kombucha is a terrific weight loss aid if taken before meals and has so many other healthy benefits besides.

I personally only bite my nails when I have a hangnail and can't find the clippers but, for some, biting their nails is a stress response and a habit that can be hard to break.  Like any other type of obsessive behavior, it can get out of hand and lead to not just unsightly nails but bleeding cuticles.

The underlying stress response is what really must be healed but in addition to working with that, there are ways to repel yourself from biting.

I certainly don't recommend applying any type of chemical because we get enough toxicity in the world as it is but there are natural creams out there that cause a bitter taste without causing a person also to ingest something that could be harmful.  Look for nutritional, natural creams that deter nail-biting.  The one I've read about that sounds good is

"Control-It" and I'm sure you can find it online or at your drugstore.

To modify the behavior, try wearing gloves to remind you not to bite.  You can also find another thing to do when you start to bite.  Let the gloves remind you that you need to do something else right now, rather than bite your nails.
